IP65 Rated Waterproof Panel PCs for Smart Retail Applications

Taipei, Taiwan, March 21, 2019 - IBASE Technology Inc. (TPEx: 8050), a leader in the manufacture of industrial Panel PCs and embedded systems, debuts the new UPC series Panel PCs created for smart retail applications. These fanless 21.5-inch panel PCs feature a full flat bezel design and a 1920 x1080 IPS LCD with projected capacitive touch screen that allows multi touch and gesture touch functionalities. They have high reliability and sealed housing, with IP65 rated front panel for waterproof resistance, and are powered by a variety of Intel processor platforms, from performance to entry-level. 

The UPC-7210 comes integrated with 7th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors, while the UPC-6210 can have an Intel® Atom® Processor E3825, or Intel® Celeron® Processor J1900 on board. The UPC-7210 is equipped with four USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, two Gigabit Ethernet, extra HDMI and DP graphics, 24VDC input and up to 32GB of DDR4 support. The UPC-6210, on the other hand, has one USB 2.0, one Gigabit Ethernet, additional VGA and DP interface, 4GB DDR3L memory, two mPCIe slots, and runs on Windows 7 OS. 

Common features of the two models include 64GB SSD storage, mPCIe for mSATA, 12VDC input, optional wireless solutions, and OS support for Windows 10 and Linux Kernel 4+. With VESA mounting (100x100), the UPC series is not restricted to wall mounting but can be fitted to desk mount or placed on a swivel arm.
