Language In terms of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), IBASE has always upheld the philosophy of
environmental sustainability and actively promoted green innovation and responsible actions.
We continue
to actively cooperate with government policies, invest in various sustainable development and environmental
improvement projects, and comply with relevant regulations and international standards, incorporating social
inclusion, environmental protection, and corporate ethics into operational decision-making. With energy saving and
carbon reduction as the core, IBASE has launched a number of concrete actions and achieved significant results in
pollution prevention and environmental management. In the future, we will be even more committed to achieving
global standards in order to protect the environment and fulfill our corporate social responsibility, preserving a
healthy, safe, and sustainable living environment for future generations.
To reduce the environmental impact caused by carbon emissions, IBASE has taken practical actions by changing the Pingzhen Factory solar power system from the original model of selling electricity to Taiwan Power Company to self-consumption. The current installed capacity has reached 609 kWp (kilowatt-peak). As of the end of 2025, a total of 438 T-REC certificates had been generated during the year, effectively improving energy utilization efficiency and reducing environmental burdens. In the future, solar power systems will also be fully introduced into the new Vietnam factory, continuously expanding the use of renewable energy and making long-term contributions to promoting green sustainable development. In addition, in order to achieve carbon reduction goals, IBASE has outlined a 2050 net-zero roadmap and demonstrating its action plan for sustainable development.
In terms of the social aspect, IBASE values employee welfare and human-centered management. All factory sites are committed to creating a friendly workplace environment, with the aim of providing a comfortable, safe, and high-quality human-centered working environment. At the same time, IBASE continues to deepen its local engagement and create employment opportunities to promote regional economic development, thereby creating sustainable corporate value. IBASE' s 2024 Sustainability Report once again received the 2025 TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards Silver Award in the Sustainability Report Category I for the Electronics and Information Manufacturing Industry. The consecutive awards fully demonstrate IBASE' s continuous deepening and outstanding achievements in environmental sustainability, transparency of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) information disclosure, and concrete implementation.
In terms of supply chain management, IBASE' s sustainability evaluation team began conducting on-site supplier audits and guidance for certain suppliers in 2025 to deepen sustainable cooperation within the supply chain. In the future, we will continue to strengthen sustainable supply chain management, work together with supply chain partners to create an industrial system for the circular economy, and move toward a sustainable netzero path.
Since the second half of 2024, IBASE has fully promoted the digitization of product user manuals, thereby reducing paper usage. In 2025, this reduced approximately 60 tCO2e, actively moving toward environmental sustainability goals. In addition, IBASE participated in the “Taiwan Good Air Fertile Field” 20-hectare rice straw open-burning reduction carbon-reduction donation initiative, encouraging the on-site decomposition and recycling utilization of agricultural waste from rice straw, assisting Taiwan agriculture in reducing 180 tCO2e in 2025 and contributing to a sustainable environment. At the same time, in order to deeply integrate security concepts into core business operations, IBASE is actively introducing the “ISA/IEC 62443” industrial cybersecurity standard certification, incorporating internationally recognized industrial control security standards and information security mechanisms into product design and manufacturing processes, strengthening product security from the source, and providing customers with comprehensive information security protection ranging from internal corporate controls to terminal product protection.
The edge AI in-vehicle computer system launched this year received the Embedded World 2025 Best in Show Award in Germany, and two edge AI computers also received the 2025 IoT Edge Computing Excellence Award, demonstrating IBASE' s outstanding R&D capabilities. In addition, in response to the trend of declining birth rates, talent cultivation has become a key issue that cannot be ignored in sustainable corporate development. To establish the foundation for sustainable operations, IBASE continues to promote diversified training programs and is committed to enhancing employees' knowledge and skills, strengthening core professional capabilities, and supporting employees' physical and mental development, thereby building a competitive talent team and proactively planning for the company' s future growth.
