TAIPEI, TAIWAN, January 24, 2007 - IBASE, a leading embedded computing manufacturer, announces the ET900, a low power COM Express CPU module using the Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset and the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors. With an extremely small form factor, the ET900 offers the flexibility and high levels of processing performance needed for industrial automation, test & measurement, medical imaging, digital signage and automotive applications. "Supporting Intel's new Core Microarchitecture-based processors, the ET900 allows our customers to deliver embedded systems with high efficiency and value in a small footprint," said C. S. Lin, president of IBASE Technology. "Featuring the 945GM chipset and the new Core 2 Duo processors, the ET900 meets the demanding performance requirements of today's complex embedded applications." With
dimensions of 95 x 125mm, the ET900 features eight USB ports,
two SATA ports, one IDE and chipset-integrated 10/100 BaseT Ethernet.
It allows flexible expansions of six PCI-E x1, one PCI-E x16 and four
PCI slots. Various displays are supported with the 18-bit LVDS or
DVI interface, using SDVO ports on carrier boards. The RoHS compliant
ET900 module can be used with IBASE's IP400 Flex ATX COM Express baseboard
and is available in February, 2007. ET900
