The IBASE MB935 is an Intel® Q35 Express Chipset-based network platform supporting Intel® Core™ 2 Quad and Core™ 2 Duo processors and has six Gigabit Ethernet ports, delivering higher performance while enabling lower-power and quieter systems in network service applications.

Built around the Intel® Q35 Express chipset, the MB935 supports LGA775 Intel® Core™2 Quad and Core™2 Duo processors of up to 4.0GHz speed and FSB of 800/1066/1333MHz, as well as four DDR2 667/800 DIMM modules. PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet functionality comes from six Intel® 82574L controllers and four Serial-II ATA connectors on board provides 3Gb/s data throughput speed - faster than the most advanced parallel ATA.

Additional expansion is available to support two to four PCI slots with the IP325 backplane bridge board. Other advanced features include four USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, and a watchdog timer. The MB935 is an ideal networking solution for firewall & VPN applications. Dimensions of the board are 13.98" by 7.28".
