Unveils MB500 AMD Geode LX RoHS Mini-ITX Motherboard
Taipei, Taiwan, September
11, 2006 - IBASE Technology, a leading manufacturer of RoHS-compliant
Mini-ITX motherboards, releases a new AMD Geode LX Mini-ITX platform
that delivers the highest power/performance ratio available in the
industry today, offering designers a complete solution for developing
a variety of end-user devices that require high-performance x86-based
processing and low power usage. The cost effective MB500 supports
the AMD Geode CS5536 companion device, optimized to work with the
AMD Geode LX 800@0.9W processor.
With highly versatile
internal power management, the MB500 Mini-ITX motherboard comes
with the needed features to meet a wide range of applications. With
up to 1GB of DDR SDRAM support, it comes with one or two Realtek
10/100 Ethernet controllers for LAN connectivity. The integrated
VGA controller supports graphics interfaces for CRT, TFT and LVDS
LCD displays. Useful interfaces and expansions include four USB
2.0, four COM, one PCI, one Mini PCI and a CompactFlash socket.
Board dimensions are 170mm by 170mm. Additional information on the
