With 1066MHz and 800MHz front side bus support, it provides faster data transfer rate compared to previous generation bus speed. Two SO-DIMM sockets accept up to 4GB of dual channel DDR2 800MHz memory modules.
Supporting the latest Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processors on 45nm process technology, the MI945 is designed for applications that have computing and graphics-intensive needs such as in high-end medical imaging, communications and gaming machines. The integrated powerful 3D graphics engine, based on the Intel GMA X3500 graphics architecture, operates at core speeds of up to 533MHz and supports Dual Independent Display technology. It is equipped with a single or dual Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, four SATA II ports, eight USB ports and expansions slots including one Mini PCI-E, one PCI and one PCI-E(x1) slot.
